  • When should I use Direct Event Conferencing?

    You can use Direct Event anytime you want the assurance of making a reservation and having operator assistance without having lengthy hold times. It is also the ideal service when you want to take advantage of special features, such as streaming, participant reports, transcription or recording.
  • How do I schedule a Direct Event call?

    To schedule a Direct Event call you have the two following options:
    1. Go to www.intercallonline.com.
    2. Call 800.374.2441 or +1.706.645.8600.
  • What features are available with Direct Event?

    With Direct Event, you can choose from any of our Surround-the-Call features, including registration, streaming, transcription or podcasting.
  • Can I still request operator assistance during my conference call?

    At any time during your call, you can request an operator simply by pressing *0 on your phone keypad.
  • How many participants can I have on a Direct Event call?

    You can have up to 1,800 participants on a Direct Event conferencing call.
  • How do participants join my call?

    At the time of the call, participants dial their participant dial-in number, enter their Direct Event participant passcode (if applicable) and registrant ID (if applicable), then they are placed on music hold until the start of the conference.

    If no participant information is required, the participants will enter the dial-in number and passcode and will be placed on music hold.
  • If I want participants to register for my call, how do I set it up?

    To have participants register for your call:
    1. Make your reservation and indicate that you would like to use Participant Reports.
    2. Choose from three Participant Reports options (standard, enhanced or premium).
    3. Upon completion of the reservation, you will receive a confirmation with the registration information, including a URL for online registration and phone numbers for phone registration.
    4. Distribute the registration information to your participants.
