The recent full-court press to invoke some sort of green initiative has more than likely gained some priority in your company’s goals for 2008. InterCall has seen a very strong interest in our GreenConferencing.com site, and now we’re cooking up even more good stuff in preparation for Earth Day in April. So this edition of the MeetingCoach is dedicated to Being Green!

It's obvious conferencing solutions are good for the environment and can be great for your business. But InterCall’s commitment to green initiatives spans beyond your typical conferencing solutions. We want to encourage and inspire a new way of thinking about your "business environment".

As we gear up for Earth Day next month, we have taken heed to our own advice and plan to implement a variety of incentives in an effort to continuously enhance our own green initiative. To help get the word out, in April we will host a webinar in which Esurance will discuss the successes and challenges their company faces as it carries out its commitment to the environment, and you'll learn a few best practices of how to green your own business. You don’t want to miss out, so make sure to register at GreenConferencing.com.

Internally, we will encourage employees to volunteer at local Earth Day events and ask them to blog about their experiences, take pictures, create videos and post them to our GreenConferencing.com site. We also plan to have a Green Out Day, where employees can work from home and, upon calculating the cost of carbon emissions saved, post the results to GreenConferencing.com.

Here at InterCall, our efforts don’t stop at providing you with the best conferencing tools that help to reduce travel; we also want to give you carbon-cutting research and forums for discussion.
