Letter from Bob Wise
VP of Marketing and Strategic Business Development

As many of you know, InterCall and Microsoft have long been collaborators when it comes to building integration between phone and web conferencing. So, this month, as Microsoft launched its newest productivity tool, Office Communications Server (OCS), I was pleased to be on the frontlines at the launch in San Francisco.

When it comes to collaboration technologies, most of you are concerned with just getting on your meeting, getting your work done and moving on. But we’re interested in the different ways we can make it easier for you to be productive and connected. This includes tying into the tools that help you manage your work day more effectively, in addition to the meetings for which you’ve come to rely on us.

Honestly, the world of Unified Communications (UC), as this type of integration is known, is not really new to us…we just didn’t always call it that. We are proud of the fact that we were in on the ground floor of this trend, providing one of the first integrations of audio conferencing with our web and video technologies, as well as integrating with our partners (like Microsoft and WebEx) before any of our competitors.

The new opportunities offered by tools like OCS allow us to extend our integrations in new ways, and add a broader scope to the future of our business. InterCall’s specialized vision in this realm revolves around providing “more” to our customers, in the same manner we’ve always focused on having the most choices of products and the most flexibility in how you can put those solutions to use.

We’re glad you’re with us on this journey; it should be an exciting time. Stay tuned as we update you on the latest in the coming months!

Have a great week,

Bob Wise
