OCTOBER 2007
It’s Easy Being Green!
What is a carbon footprint?
A carbon footprint is a representation of the effect human activities have on the climate in terms of the total amount of greenhouse gases produced. A good carbon footprint will consider your travel, energy consumption and recycling efforts. For example, if you fly often, the emissions from the airplane will add to your carbon footprint. But if you reduce your travel by using conference calls, web conferencing or video conferencing you can reduce your carbon footprint.
