According to the Air Transport Association, Nov. 21-Jan. 3 is the busiest travel time of the year. More than 2.5 million passengers flew the day before Thanksgiving and it's anticipated over 2 million will fly the week before Christmas (you can bet that many of them will leave the office early to board their flights).
