Introducing CrisisConnect Online from InterCall
A crisis happens without notice, and you need to be prepared to
communicate with your team to minimize the impacts to your
day-to-day business.
CrisisConnect Online is InterCall’s new, web
based communication tool that allows you to manage and prepare
broadcast communications in advance of a crisis or on the fly. In
the unfortunate event a crisis impacts your business, CrisisConnect
Online helps you prepare to communicate the right messages to the right
people, at a moment’s notice.
Crisis Preparation
Store contact
information. Upload multiple phone numbers for each recipient along with their
email address and pager number. This will help send your message
out through as many vehicles as possible in the event some mediums
are unavailable or inaccessible.
Prepare communication instructions in advance.
This will allow you to quickly send out pre-determined messages that
are stored within CrisisConnect Online in the event of a crisis.
Determine your
communication delivery options.
You can choose how often you want a message sent to participants
until they are reached, whether or not to leave messages in voice
mail, the voice and speed in which the message is delivered, and you
can opt to provide meeting information including date, time and
dial-in number.
During a Crisis
Send custom email,
text and voice broadcasts.
As participants are contacted via the broadcast method of your
choice, they can receive communication which will inform them of
next steps during the crisis. If you provide dial-in information to
connect to a Reservationless-Plus conference call, recipients can be
automatically joined to a call using their telephone keypad.
Create and send
messages on the fly.
If the pre-determined message is not applicable or needs to be
revised, log in to CrisisConnect Online and type a new message. You
can select to have the typed message translated into a voice
broadcast via the text-to-speech recognition feature, sent as an
email or text message, and it can be launched from within the web
console or from any phone.
Track who received your message and who you still need to contact. CrisisConnect Online’s real-time
reporting will show you who was contacted and
when, as well as the number of attempts made in reaching them. You
can quickly view which key members still need to know about the
crisis and determine what next steps are necessary in communicating
with them.

and processes in place in advance of a crisis will help ensure you
are able to manage your crisis by having key contacts involved in
communications from the start.
