By clearly communicating individual strengths (both inside and across teams), you can improve the return you realize from your collaborative technology investments.

Organizations that prioritize individual goals and achievements often fall short in the area of collaboration. It is important to create expectations for successful collaboration in the workplace by setting team goals and recognizing exceptional outcomes that they achieve .
Collaboration and relationship building go hand-in-hand. Although it’s unrealistic to assume that everyone on the team will instantly become best friends, team-building and social activities create trust among team members and ultimately improve collaboration. As an employer, you’re being asked to do more with your existing workforce. Advanced tools and technologies are a great start. But to maximize workforce productivity, you’ll need to invest a little time and energy in helping your employees get as excited about collaboration as you are.
