Earlier this month, our senior vice president Herb Pyles joined with Bizconf Telecom CEO Gene Huang (Huang Yuangeng) to announce an expansion of the strategic partnership between the two companies that started ten years ago. Bizconf is the largest CSP in China and is poised to fulfill the growing demand for collaboration and conferencing services from the Chinese business community. Conferencing in China is projected to approach US$500M annually in the next 5 years, with 12% year over year growth rate. By 2019, China will represent 40% of the total conferencing market for the APAC region.
“We are extremely bullish on the China market and its potential for growth. We also understand that our multinational customers expect a consistent user experience around the world today,” said Mr. Pyles. “To address this need, InterCall is committed to building and strengthening our strategic partnership with our China partner, BizConf Telecom.”
InterCall will be investing in this partnership by providing expanded support, products and solutions to improve China-based customers’ experience and productivity. We plan to deploy our technology within the region to enhance the Chinese end user experience and to provide consistent high quality performance. We’re investigating the deployment of InterCall On Demand audio and web services including Reservationless IICP solution (Global Network Access) and Unified Meeting 5® and InterCall webcasting services (Webcast Essentials and Webcast Pro) among others.
