With this addition, customers can now use HD Webcams, professional video feeds and HD videoconferencing units (VCUs) to deliver HD video quality all the way to the desktop during their high-profile events.

Key to the new capability is improved video compression that allows a higher-quality signal to be received at a lower video bit rate. As a result, webcast hosts are able to provide the type of video quality users are accustomed to from commercial broadcast sources without taking up excessive bandwidth or over-burdening their network resources.

InterCall Webcast Studio is the first to support organic HD through a webcam. It provides resolution up to 720p, delivering a more engaging experience for viewers while making whiteboards easier to read and live demonstrations easier to follow.
