CHICAGO, December 8, 2009 – InterCall, the world's largest conferencing and collaboration services provider, today announced a strategic, global reseller/distribution agreement with Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq:ADBE) that will allow InterCall to sell a complete, fully-integrated Adobe® Acrobat® Connect™ Pro web conferencing solution to its customers. The new integrated InterCall/Adobe offering is now available in North America and will be offered globally in early 2010.
The Connect Pro web conferencing software allows users to more securely support dynamic online meetings and offer engaging training. Users can share presentations and rich media right from their desktops, and receive feedback from hundreds of participants — all using a web browser and the Adobe Flash® Player runtime, already installed on over 98 percent of Internet-connected personal computers worldwide. Connect Pro lets everyone connect instantly, regardless of their operating system or browser version, without the need to download software.
Additionally, InterCall has completed audio integration within the platform, providing customers with a fully-integrated audio and web conferencing experience. As a result, customers utilizing Connect Pro will now have the opportunity to manage their InterCall audio conference from within the web meeting user interface. This will be made available to current Adobe customers with the release of the new 7.5 version of Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro.
