InterCall One Touch Conferencing To-Go Now Available for BlackBerry Smartphones

CHICAGO (May 13, 2009) – InterCall, the world’s largest conferencing and collaboration services provider, today announced that Mobile Assistant, its application that makes conferencing on-the-go as simple as pressing one button on a BlackBerry® smartphone, is available for immediate download on BlackBerry App World

InterCall’s Mobile Assistant enables a one button start for the conferences InterCall customers host or join regularly. Mobile Assistant is a free download that enables InterCall customers to:

  • Start and join InterCall audio conferences with the push of a single button from their BlackBerry smartphones. Customers no longer need to enter the ten-digit dial-in number, conference code or leader PIN.
  • Join audio conferences as a participant or a leader.
  • Store up to 256 unique sets of audio conference details - from weekly recurring meetings to one time calls.

“Mobile Assistant helps our customers get more done, whether they’re at their desks, in their homes or on-the-go,” said Warren Baxley, vice president, products at InterCall. “We’ve always known that our customers value mobility, but we’ve seen just how much since Mobile Assistant launched for BlackBerry smartphones. The number of initial downloads on BlackBerry App World has surpassed our expectations, thanks in large part to word of mouth from our customers.”

InterCall’s Mobile Assistant is now available for a variety of BlackBerry smartphones including the BlackBerry® Bold™, BlackBerry® Storm, BlackBerry® Curve 83 and BlackBerry® Pearl series.
