InterCall Named Asia Pacific Conferencing Service Provider of the Year by Frost & Sullivan

CHICAGO, June 24, 2008 – InterCall, the world’s largest conferencing and collaboration services provider, has been named Frost & Sullivan’s 2008 Conferencing Service Provider of the Year in Asia Pacific.

This honor was conferred at the 2008 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards which recognizes companies in the information and communications technology industry that have risen above the competition and demonstrated outstanding performance across the Asia Pacific region.  Criteria included revenue and revenue growth, portfolio diversity, major wins and key achievements in financial year 2007.

“InterCall’s edge has been its ability to capitalize on its global network and strength in serving its wide and diverse customer base across Asia-Pacific, while demonstrating agility in responding to local demands,” said Yen Yen Har, senior industry analyst, Frost & Sullivan.

Continued Har, “InterCall also strengthened its suite of offerings with increasing focus on video and Web-based services to complement its core audio conferencing services, and formed strategic partnerships in key emerging markets to better serve its customers. As a result, InterCall successfully grew its business at a rate exceeding all other key players in 2007.”

According to Hain MacKay-Cruise, managing director, InterCall Asia Pacific, “We are thrilled to receive such a prestigious award against very capable and tough competition.  Since coming to Asia-Pacific in 2000, InterCall has grown to offices in six countries.  We thank Frost & Sullivan for recognizing the success we’ve had in serving our customers in this fast growing, and competitive industry.”

“As use of conferencing and collaboration services grows worldwide, we will continue to deliver Unified Communications and Collaboration solutions that make sense for the way companies do business so that they can be more productive,” said Scott Etzler, president of InterCall.  “This achievement reflects the exceptional efforts of our team, and our partners, to help businesses get more done.  We are honored to be Frost & Sullivan’s 2008 Conferencing Service Provider of the Year in Asia Pacific.”
