February 05, 2004; Chicago, IL – InterCall, Inc., a division of West Corporation, and one of the largest service providers specializing in conferencing communications, today announced a strategic alliance with Microsoft to deliver integrated audio and Web conferencing services.

Conference Place, a co-branded service powered by Microsoft Office Live Meeting, offers a flexible Web conferencing and virtual collaboration solution. When combined with InterCall’s audio conferencing services, Conference Place transforms a phone and a PC with an Internet connection into a virtual conference room, an online auditorium or an electronic brainstorming session. With the initiation of this strategic partnership, Conference Place, powered by Microsoft Office Live Meeting, becomes InterCall’s preferred Web conferencing service. InterCall will immediately offer programs enabling customers to take advantage of these unique voice and data collaboration services.

"Microsoft Office Live Meeting has brought the power of true collaboration and real-time teamwork to the conferencing market," said Scott Etzler, President of InterCall. "InterCall is committed to working with Microsoft to extend that power to businesses worldwide with our Conference Place, audio conferencing and world-class customer support services.
